How these cards work:

    • Throughout these 75 cards, participants are tasked with taking on the role of the writer – and escape artist. 
    • On each card, we provide a scenario in which a character is somehow trapped. Most often, they’re trapped physically, but sometimes they’re trapped by a set of circumstances.
    • It’s then up to participants to use their creative thinking and problem-solving skills to figure out how the character will escape.
    • Ideas should be story-worthy - the would-be writers should strive to entertain their audience. 

Age range: We'd say the minimum age is around 9/10-ish.

Scenarios do range in difficulty. Some are more straightforward with ample escape avenues - others, not so much 😉

Details!!

  • Our PDFs are not editable. You can print as well as copy & paste the content, but you cannot alter the PDF you receive. 
  • With this PDF you get two versions:
    • A version created with one card/slide per 4" x 6" page that is easily viewed on a device
    • A version with four cards per page, that you can print and cut into physical cards. These printable pages are created for standard letter size, 8.5" x 11".
